thatabbygirlcar drama today. the brakes were making slightly funny noises in the front, so i thought i'd take it in. apparently "slightly funny noises" means "catastrophic brake situation" because they all freaked out and said all this crap needed to be done, and frankly it probably does, and some transmission fluid rotation thing, and the guy got all mad at me for driving around with my car like that.
and then they wanted to keep it overnight and i was all stranded there and there are No Cabs Available because of the transit strike, so i had to call everyone i knew, including people i didn't really want to talk to, because there was going to be no way to get home short of walking 3.2 miles over the big hill between hollywood and the valley.
but i finally made it home and now the only hard part is going back tomorrow and parting with $800!!!
