even ballers need papers

i just got back from the federal building. i was visiting the office of hearings and appeals for the social security administration to copy some papers from a client's file. seemingly all the basketball players in the world were there to go to the passport office so they'd be able to go to the upcoming lakers game in toronto. they just swarmed off a bus and rolled up to the office in a huge pack of huge men. it was pretty entertaining. i guess being as nationally recognized as shaq or kobe still doesn't mean you can cross the border without documentation...
